Lưu ý:
1. Tuyệt đối không được dùng crack có sẵn!!!!!! Hãy download bản Patch về và chạy nó để được nâng cấp lên phiên bản mới nhất và không bị lỗi đòi CD. Nếu cài bản nào thì phải cài Patch của bản đó (Tức là cài bao nhiêu bản thì cài bấy nhiêu Patch tương ứng). Cài Patch theo thứ tự: Bản gốc trước ---> Bản mở rộng WarChiefs ---> Bản mở rộng Asian Dynaties. Link Download Patch ở bên dưới, trong phần download phụ trợ.

2. Dùng chương trình Hj-Split để nối 5 Sub thành một Part.
Ví dụ Age of Empires III có 18 Part, mỗi Part khoảng 95 MB. Mỗi Part này bị cắt thành 5 Sub, mỗi Sub khoảng 20 MB. Nhiệm vụ là phải ghép 5 sub này thành 1 Part. Sau khi đã tạo thành các 18 Part hoàn chỉnh thì mới dùng WinRAR giải nén rồi cài đặt.

3. Quy trình thực hiện: Download Sub --Nối 5 Sub thành 1 Part bằng Hj-Split--> Đầy đủ Part --Dùng Winrar giải nén--> Được thư mục cài đặt ---> Chạy setup.exe để cài đặt.

4. Age of Empires III và Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs muốn giải nén chỉ cần chạy File Exe chọn nơi giải nén và xả nén. Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties thì phải dùng Winrar giải nén mới được.

Để cắt file lớn thành nhiều file nhỏ:
B1: Nhấn nút Split
B2: Nhấn nút Input File rồi chọn file cần cắt
B3: Nhấn nút Output rồi chọn nơi lưu.
B4: Chọn dung lượng tối đa cho mỗi file con bị cắt từ file chính.
B5: Nhấn Start và chờ đợi

Để ghép file bị cắt thành file ban đầu:
B1: Nhấn nút Join
B2: Nhấn nút Input File rồi chọn file con có đuôi .001, sau đó chương trình sẽ tự động kiếm các file còn lại. Lưu ý: các file phải cùng một thư mục.
B3: Nhấn nút Output rồi chọn nơi lưu.
B4. Nhấn Start và chờ đợi.
